UI/UX Design

User interfaces designed for clarity and conversion

The problem

Internal software is where bad interface design costs the most and gets the least attention. Users memorise which of nine identical buttons is the right one, data entry needs three screens because nobody watched somebody do it, and every new hire needs a week of shadowing to learn a workflow that could have been self-evident. This is a design problem, not a training problem.

The process
  1. Watch the current workflow being done by the people who actually do it, and count the steps
  2. Wireframes in Figma for the changed flows, reviewed before any visual polish
  3. Design system work: type scale, spacing, colour with real contrast checks, and a component set so later screens stay consistent
  4. Mobile and tablet layouts where the work genuinely happens away from a desk, not as an afterthought
  5. Prototype for the flows worth testing with users before they are built
  6. Developer handover with specs, tokens and states, including empty, loading and error states, which are where most handovers fall short

FAQ

Can you design inside Odoo's constraints?

Yes, and it matters. Odoo's backend views have real limits, so a design that ignores them becomes a fight in implementation. We design to what the framework can actually render, then build it.

Do you build what you design?

We can. Design and implementation in the same team removes the handover gap, which is where most detail is lost.

What about accessibility?

Contrast, focus states, keyboard navigation and reduced-motion support are part of the work, not an add-on. They are also the cheapest things to get right at design time and the most expensive to retrofit.

We only need a few screens improved, not a redesign.

That is a normal engagement. Per-screen pricing exists for exactly this, and improving the three screens people use hourly usually beats redesigning everything.
